Lights. Cameras. Braintree Champions.
Our Under-13s win SV2’s Frenzy Winter Cup and the 5K prize after an unforgettable evening at Ballerz—and a remarkable double-winning Sunday for Dylan Parker.
By Braintree Futsal Club

By the time Dylan Parker (@dylanparker_7) arrived at Ballerz in Bluewater, he had already helped Braintree win one match in Kent.
The First Team captain had completed his playing duties with a 7–5 away victory against Kent, securing three points before heading across to a very different stage.
Waiting for him were seven Braintree Under-13 players, new Frenzy kits and an evening far removed from their usual matchday.
Cameras. Film crews. Photographers. Big screens, dramatic lighting and a crowd ready to make some noise.
This was SV2’s Frenzy Winter Cup.
By the end of the night, Braintree were champions—and Dylan had another victory to celebrate.
An invitation from a friend of the club
For Braintree, the invitation meant more than a place in a tournament.
Award-winning football creator SV2, known to us as Eman, has been a friend of the club for years. He has travelled across Europe with Braintree and shared national and European title-winning experiences along the way.
Our players have also enjoyed opportunities to feature in his videos, taking their football into a setting that combines competition, creativity and a much wider audience.
So when Eman invited Braintree’s Under-13s to his first Frenzy Cup, the club set about putting its squad together.
Maxim in goal. Captain Seni (@sen1baller). Will, Ralphie, Jayden, Reiss and Ashton.
Seven players ready for a new challenge.
From the First Team to the next generation
With Jack Harrod in Belgium coaching the Under-9s during their European runners-up adventure, Dylan took responsibility for managing and coaching the team.
His Sunday became a memorable example of the connection between Braintree’s senior players and its academy.
First, represent the club on court. Then help the next generation do the same.
After the win against Kent, Dylan headed to Ballerz to guide the youngsters through their own competition.
Different role. Different surface. The same badge to represent.

A stage built for something special
The players received their Frenzy kits and took part in squad and individual photos before the football began.
Inside the dome, the occasion was impossible to miss. Teams walked out through the tunnel, lighting and screens brought the venue to life, and cameras followed the action throughout.
For the boys, it was an opportunity to experience the production behind the kind of football videos watched by millions.
But there was serious competition beneath the spectacle.
The standard was high, with talented young players across the teams. Braintree also had to adapt to indoor artificial turf, rather than their familiar futsal surface.
The setting was different. The challenge was to bring their own qualities into it.

An opening defeat—and the response that mattered
Braintree’s first game ended in a 2–1 defeat, with Jayden scoring the team’s goal.
It was a setback. It would also be their last defeat of the evening.
In their second group match, Seni scored twice and Ashton added another as Braintree won 3–0.
The squad had responded, found momentum and earned a place in the semi-finals.
There, the same scoring combination delivered again: two goals from Seni and one from Ashton secured a 3–1 victory and a place in the final.
Maxim also produced a penalty save during the tournament, contributing a moment of his own to a run that depended on every member of the squad.
Braintree were now one match from the trophy.
Waiting for them were the opponents who had beaten them in their opening game.

One more meeting. A different ending.
The final offered Braintree the chance to turn their evening around completely.
They had already experienced what these opponents could do. Now they had an opportunity to show how they had grown into the competition.
Reiss and Ashton scored as Braintree won 2–1, reversing the scoreline of their first meeting and completing the journey from an opening defeat to tournament champions.
Then came the celebrations.
Teammates rushed together. Dylan was swept into the joy of the moment. The boys who had started the evening with a loss were finishing it with the Frenzy Winter Cup title and the 5K prize.
After a night of lights, cameras and competition, that shared celebration was the moment that mattered most.

Captain Seni leads the scoring
Seni finished as the tournament’s top goalscorer with four goals, scoring twice in both the second group game and the semi-final.
Ashton contributed three, finding the net in every Braintree victory—including the final.
Jayden and Reiss added one each to complete the team’s nine-goal tally.
Those goals tell part of the story. Around them was the work of a seven-player squad adapting to the surface, responding to disappointment and finding a way to win together.
Maxim, Seni, Will, Ralphie, Jayden, Reiss and Ashton all returned home as champions.
More than a winners’ cheque
The 5K prize is a welcome contribution towards the costs of running Braintree’s futsal programme, and the club is grateful for that support.
There are rewards for the players too. They will receive their own cash prizes, alongside the group’s new 2026/27 home shirt, with SV2 as its main sponsor.
But the value of the evening extends beyond the cheque.
It gave the boys an opportunity to compete against excellent players, handle the attention of cameras and crowds, and represent their club in unfamiliar surroundings.
It also added another shared success to a friendship that has created opportunities for Braintree players over many years.
Thank you, Eman, for the invitation, the experience and everything you continue to do for the club.

One club. Two unforgettable adventures.
While Braintree’s Under-9s were completing their remarkable weekend in Belgium, the Under-13s were writing their own story in Kent.
At Ballerz, seven players and their coach turned a difficult start into a trophy-winning finish.
They embraced the occasion, adapted to the challenge and left with a victory to remember.
For Dylan, it was a Sunday that began with three points for the First Team and ended celebrating a title with the academy.
A win on court. A win from the touchline.
Braintree champions. What a night. 💙
